2025 LUMI'S UTOPIA

Lumi's Utopia Children Drawing Contest is an annual art competition hosted by LuminoCity Festival, in collaboration with the Long Island Children's Museum (LICM), now proudly celebrating its 5th year.

Inspired by this year's theme, "Fantasy Winter Fairyland," participant winners' original 2D artworks will be brought to life as stunning 3D light sculptures and showcased at the 2025 LuminoCity Festival, offering young artists the extraordinary opportunity to see their creativity brought to life on a grand, illuminated scale.

At LuminoCity, we believe that every child is a natural artist. Their drawings provide a window into their thoughts, dreams, and emotions. This contest celebrates the boundless creativity of children and the power of artistic expression, bringing their raw imagination to life in a magical and meaningful way.

HOW TO APPLY

Children can participate either by attending the in-person workshops at Long Island Children’s Museum or by submitting their artwork through our online submission page.

ART FORMAT

Create your artwork using traditional drawing or painting methods inspired by this year's theme: Fantasy Winter Fairyland. Digital works, photographs, and videos won’t be accepted.

Fill Out the Application

Scan your drawing and upload the jpg or png file through our Application Form. Name your file as the Talent’s Name.
Fill out the rest of the required information on the Application Form and have a parent or guardian sign the Application Form.

Submit

Click the submit button of our online Application Form and we will receive your application immediately.

*Each participant is limited to submitting only one artwork. In the case of multiple submissions by the same participant, only the first artwork will be considered as their official application.
